can we get back to cooking? This is a forum site about food and cookery, remember?
An interesting week for sure. We've talked about dealing with telemarketers, and spam, and gardening, and animal mascots. We've explored herbalism, and the treatment of "women's ailments".
What we haven't done, much of, is discuss cooking. Or shared a lot of recipes.
I say, let's get back to basics.

I just saw this exact replica of the post from early this AM and saw it had no replies, so well........."The devil made me do it!"

Cathy I have no idea where this thread came from.
The one I started is still up. And had responses---from people who, apprently took what I said the wrong way. Not wanting to get into a p-sing match I let it drop.
But I don't know how it got restarted as a new thread.

I don't think it's been a slow week just here- Brook.
There's been little participation, and hardly a single thing at the other forum that I've cared to read- much less respond to.
Activity seems low everywhere... Any ideas? Maybe everyone's sucked-in by the conventions or something?
At least here tho, the folks are pleasant & friendly, and one is inclined to post and take part even w/ the flip, casual topics based on that alone.
Over there at that other place? Not so. Not for me, anyway.

Don't forget - it was the holiday week as well - Labor Day weekend - back to school - harvest season, etc.
