I adore my nieces but by the time we got to Outback it was already past their bedtimes. That may have had alot to do with her being so surly that night. She is getting some of it from her Dad. She is getting old enough to notice there are somethings he won't eat when it comes to veggies. But, before she started school she wasnt this bad. The only thing she had stopped eating like her Daddy was cheese. My sis threatened to strangle him after that one if he let anything else like that slip in front of the kids. She even made him eat a cheese sandwich in front of the kids to try and convince them he liked it afterall. Her Mommy tricked her into eating cheese sticks the other day and sneaks in veggies where ever she can. I used to brag about the kids having such a love of veggies. The youngest who is two still loves everything. I guess that will change later on to.

Risotto came out perfect. Jon is eating it as we speak and he loves it just like I thought he would. I seasoned it with salt, pepper and parm cheese. He wants shrimp in it next time.
