Hello. My name is Mike. I live in East London. I'm 64yo and lost my wife to the big 'C' early in 2008. I joined the forum, primarily because I was looking for a bread making group that was still alive and active. Also, the fact that I am tiring of 'Ready meals' and really wish to become a little more adventurous in my kitchen.
Glad to have you join us Mike.Sorry to hear of the loss of your wife. Nothing can replace the loss of a loved one.
There are many of us here that love to bake bread and also several that use the machines. You can find many recipes through the site search or by going to the Cooking Forum Home page. Just click the link for breads.
You will find adventure here, lol, and lots of excellent people.

As a matter of (possible) interest. When the wind is in the right direction. I can just about hear the construction noise, from the site of the 2012 London Olympics. They are making good progress, considering that it is still 2 years away.
