We've had one since we got married almost 2 years ago and have never used it :o DH hates casserole type dishes and we haven't really needed it for anything else.

But there is so much you can use it for - any meats, sides, desserts, breads - I use mine for quite a few things.

I would like to know if anyone can tell me what the difference is between a crock pot and a slow cooker. Some say that it's a slow cooker and some say it's a crock pot and yet others have both on the box. I just don't get it. I was just wondering if someone could answer this for me. Thank you. My sister and I both are trying to figure this out.

There is no difference. I think it's somewhat regional (or maybe just how you were raised) as to which it's called. But a slow cooker and crock pot are interchangable.
