Macaroni and peas. I titled this one a little differently in my cookbook because I've had a lot of people say "do you mean like macaroni and cheese?" Obviously I didn't want to confuse people...especially my husband. :) Cut bacon small and cook in a medium saucepan, you can drain a little of the grease if there's too much. Add a small chopped onion to the bacon and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add about 1/4 cup frozen peas and cook until no longer frozen, about 2 minutes. Stir this occasionally. Once that is done add about 3 - 4 cups of water, enough to boil 1/2 lb small macaroni like tubetti, but not too much. Bring to a boil. Add macaroni and cook until desired tenderness. Taste, you may want to add a little salt. Don't drain this one, the water is a wonderful addition! I hope you like it!

Today it was fried chicken tenders, mac and cheese, biscuits and salad.
I did alot of cooking yesterday because my sis and her two kids came to visit. I had not seen them since early Feb. I made them roasted chicken, salad, garlic bread, blanched broccoli and pizza fondue. They were very full when they left lol. I had also made her a pot of beef stew to take home with her and a custard pie for her husband.
