McDonald's Breakfast Burritos


To make the vegetable mixture:
1 small can green chiles
2-3 oz. minced onion
1 medium tomato, diced small
1 tsp. black pepper

To make the burritos:
2 oz. vegetable mixture
12 oz. liquid eggs or equivalent of scrambled eggs
6 oz. crumbled or chopped sausage
12 8" flour tortillas 12 slices cheese



Mix all ingredients together for vegetable mixture. (This can be done ahead of time without the tomatoes and frozen.) Use fresh onion or soak dried onion in a bit of water for a few minutes before you mix the ingredients together.

Brown sausage in medium sized skillet. Drain grease. Add vegetable mixture and saute for one minute. Add eggs and stir until fully cooked.

Roll burritos by taking one flour tortilla and placing one slice of cheese, broken into two pieces, and placing in the middle. Spoon about 2 oz of mixture into tortilla and roll.

ainjel - I'm sorry to say that I don't have that one YET! But Maybe we can create one!

Let's start with their hotcakes:

McDonald's Hotcakes


2/3 cup 7 Up
1 egg
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix

Put all ingredients into blender on high speed for a few seconds until
smooth. Let stand 10 minutes before using 1/4 cup batter for each pancake on hot, oiled griddle, browning each side.


Slather on the syrup, top with egg (of course they do not use "eggs", it comes from a carton!), cheese and bacon or sausage and top with another hotcake slathered in syrup!

You could use your favorite pancake syrup or maple syrup.

When I come across the recipe I will post it for you!

and if you want to make your own breakfast sausage patties:


2 teaspoons dried sage
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 pinch ground cloves
2 pounds ground pork


In a small, bowl, combine the sage, salt, ground black pepper, marjoram, brown sugar, crushed red pepper and cloves. Mix well.
Place the pork in a large bowl and add the mixed spices to it. Mix well with your hands and form into patties.
Saute the patties in a large skillet over medium high heat for 5 minutes per side, or until internal pork temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

You can shape the patties anysize you want for your sandwiches; and you can also cut the recipe in half or freeze them and re-heat later.

or try a maple flavored sausage pattie:


16 ounces ground pork
3 tablespoons maple flavored syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Accent
1/4 teaspoon coriander

Combine; form into patties.
