Baked Spaghetti

1 sm. Onion chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lb. Ground beef (or turkey)
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes with liquid
1 (8 oz) can diced mushrooms, drained
1 tsp. Dried oregano
1 (12 oz) pkg. Spaghetti. Cooked & drained.
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
cup water
1 (10.75 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
cup grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Saute onion, green pepper, and ground beef. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, and oregano. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Place cooked spaghetti in a 9x13 pan. Top with meat mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheddar cheese. Repeat. Mix cream of mushroom soup and water until smooth. Pour over casserole.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake 30-35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve.

Hello! Thanks for the recipe on baked spaghetti. This is interesting. I think I'm gonna try this one with the turkey instead of the ground beef.

hey this seems like it'd be great for feeding large groups (potluck, etc.). Is it?
