1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp white mustard seed

Bring the vinegar and sugar to a boil. Add mustard seed and celery seed. Allow to cool before mixing with chopped cabbage. To use: add to cabbage until cabbage is wetted. Seal and refrigerate for one hour or more.
