A coupla other great Italian cookbooks I've enjoyed are the two from "The Sopranos" HBO series. I had them before I even had watched the show and still liked them a lot. Later, I was loaned the DVD collections of all the seasons- watched the entire thing- looked at the books again and liked them even more! (looks like both books are available USED now for just 2-3 bucks! Here are the links if anyone's interested...)

Speaking of Dom Deluise... one of my fav divas has always been Dolly Parton and I saw in the news where she was present at her Dollywood theme park in Tennessee at a ceremonial groundbreaking where they're planning a rose garden memorial for Mr. Deluise. Although they didn't share any actual scenes, they were both in "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and she said they became lifelong friends while making the movie...

I just can not figure how they could get a cookbook out of the show "Sopranos" I always tell Eddie when he is watching their re-runs "Those guys are the biggest bunch of Cry-babies and Whiners I have ever heard, especially since they all think they are such BIG TOUGH guys!!!" If you sit and listen to their conversations it gets hysterical...I start going "Weeweeweeweewawawa" mimicking a crybabay and Eddie gets disgusted and turns it off:D GOAL ACCOMPLISHED!!!!!!!;)

But I'll bet the cookbooks are good as you have pointed out Kevin!

Im going to make his meatball recipe from the book this weekend.
Im planning dinner for father day for my FIL.
It will be Doms meatballs, spaghetti and breadsticks with dipping sauce. Homemade french vanilla ice cream for dessert.
I have to pick up a half pound of ground pork tomorrow for the recipe.
