Another thing that might be helpful. Not sure why it is on this forum, but how come thread subscriptions default to daily updates? Every VB site I have ever been to always defaulted to instant email notification. I have always found that these keep people more active in threads because they know right away when someone has replied to their thread.

Even though I'm probably not what you'd consider a low poster on the site, I do know that there have been plenty of times that I'd logged onto this forum (and others) just to look for a "tried and true" recipe or to get a quick question answered (that had already been asked). Which doesn't really call for a thread response. I assume that's why there's not a lot of activity, but still lots of thread views?
