I got a couple of really cute Christmas hard plastic serving trays and a cute little platter with 4 sections at the Dollar Tree today.

That's good, they have such cute things. I buy a lot of holiday stuff there to. I have bought dishes, candles, Holiday mugs, ornaments, stocking stuffers, wrapping paper, Holiday Bags, bows, cards ect.... It's Fun! Cookie

We went to Sams Club today and Big Lots. I picked up a good size bag of raw shrimp at Sams. I really dont like the precooked shrimp at all. I got a big jug of Bertolli olive oil and I love that baby spring mix salad they sell there. You pay $4 for a big container of it there and it cost that much at WalMart for enough of it for two small salads. I got some tomatoes and restocked my garlic and sweet onions. They had some of the big stuffed olives 2 big jars for $8. My FIL and I both love olives. They had out all of their lovely Christmas candies. Jon got me a box of Belgian truffles dusted with cocoa powder. I got into those on the way home lol.
I went to the Kroger's over in the next county and they had put in an olive bar. They had wonderful marinated artichoke hearts and several differnt kinds of olives. It was $7.99 a pound so it wasnt that bad at all. I needed one 8oz can of whole oysters for my holiday dressing and I found it at Krogers.
WalMart was having a good sale on chocolate chips. I got three pounds here in town a few days ago for $1.70 each. WalMart had them 2 pounds for $3. Around the holidays you cannot have enough chocolate chips.
Our two Mom and Pop grocery stores leave alot to be desired when looking for ingredients :rolleyes:

I used to go to Sam's club, I'm not a member any more. They do have good stuff there. It's fun to look around. I go to Walmart instead. I just don't buy that much in quantity, so for me Walmart works well. I like Big-Lots to!

I Love olives to, they are so good the black and green with pimentos. I have had the ones with blue-cheese in them they are good to.

Your right about chocolate chips you can never have enough. Your Truffles sounded Delicious. lol Cookie
