I only went to one Farmers Market this year, I bought Red & Yellow Sweet Peppers. Someone was selling Anisette Biscotti-Homemade, they looked so Good I bought a pkg, they were Delicious.
The Farmers Market I usually go to I think is open now, they sell fresh corn, zucchini, tomatoes, sweet peppers etc.

I want to make Zucchini Bread, I got the recipe here form you jglass. I Love that recipe, it's so Good! I will be here at Spice Place a year this month! Talk to ya, Cookie :)

I'm glad you are enjoying the recipe Cookie :)
I made a double batch of that a few weeks ago. One for us and one for my FIL. He is so good about giving me that stuff I try and cook it in some way and take it back to him. Zucchini bread is one of the few ways my ever so picky hubby will eat the stuff
No one at the farmers market here does baked goods. It is a great idea though. The only thing they do even close to that is sell homemade jams and jellies.
I got such a good haul today I made one of the neighbors up here a basket loaded with green beans, tomatoes, assorted peppers, zucchini and fresh herbs. Come to find out she loves to cook with fresh herbs. It also gave me the chance to visit with her puppy Darby. She has the cutest little mini schnauzer!

Aren't miniature schnauzers adorable, janie? I had two salt n' peppers that my sister's family now have. My niece & nephew took care of them when I worked up north and then when I moved back to IL. full-time they'd grown attached to them so I didn't have to heart to take'm back...

Awww is that them in your avatar? They are beautiful!
A mini schnauzer was what we were looking for when we got the dog we have now.
When we got the breeders she also bred several other types of dogs. While in the hospital two of her dogs had accidently gotten to each other that were not meant to be bred and my little dog Pooh was the result. His Mama was a yorkie and his daddy was a maltese. We picked him because he was the dog we connected with. We looked at three mini schnauzer pups she had but they didnt seem to take to us. There were two other couples there the same day who were trying to buy our pup but since we got there first we got first dibs lol.
One couple who wanted to buy him was a much older man and his wife. She has just found out she had cancer and he was buying her a dog to help her through chemo. She was probably in her late 70's. A hyper active 6 week old puppy was not a good choice for someome in her situation. After we told them we were taking the pup they bought one of the schnauzer pups she had. Honestly Pooh would have driven them insane. He is very active and constantly wants to play and be in your face.

I'm fortunate and have a Farmers Market every Saturday from 8am-Noon with 30-40 vendors and the produce changes as the season changes. Even better is that there is a strong Asian presence so about 10 or so vendors sell the more cultural produce which increases the variety and experimenting in the kitchen.

Taht would be awesome to have here! I'd love an opportuntiy to get snow peas, bok choy, and many other fresh veggies you just can't buy very fresh from the grocery store. You are very fortunate indeed.:)
