Anyone in Irene's path- know that we're thinking 'bout'chas and praying too!

My line of work is monitoring security systems of offices all over the country. Including power failures and environmental/mechanical alarms- like sump pump failures, heating/cooling failures, phone failures, glass-breaks, etc.

Our alarm boards are just now starting to go nuts in North Carolina. I expect it to be a hectic weekend here...

It's hard to believe we have a Hurricane and Louisiana is not involved. However, I overheard some people talking that said they would take Irene just to get the rain.

I to have all the folks in the storm area on my prayer list.

I sure didn't like the map on the weather channel with all that in my area! Scared me for sure - but all is well.

I can hardly believe it appears that w/ all the region that was effected looks like it turned out that l'il ol land-locked Vermont might have turned out to be hit the hardest- by a HURRICANE! Imagine!
