Janie,
Cathy and I must have been on the same wavelength last night:p My son had webelos and I needed something fast and he loves Pizza Hut's garlic cheese bread (no sauce) and he wanted to go out, but I didn't have time so I remembered your recipe and made them. Josh's response was "Wow, Mom these are as good as Pizza Hut's, can we have some more tomorrow night?"

Julie

P.S. I did insist he eat a salad with it;)

I actually thought Id make those bread sticks, dipping sauce, garlic pull aparts, baked ziti, salad & roasted garlic french bread. Desserts will be cherry pie, brownies & cupcakes.
He plans to make spaghetti and the other daughter in law mentioned making lasagna.
My idea of spaghetti is not spaghetti with that hunts sauce in the cans which is what he has bought lol. I like store bought sauce fine..just not that kind.

But wait Janie that Hunt's kind is affordable, and best of all it is a good starter and you can improve upon it with a little added this-n-that [ wine, more sauted garlic, onion, bell pepper, oregano, parsley, thyme, splash of hot sauce and mushrooms:D Does your FIL know that???
