Actually she was very much on point. My point in this thread was a question as much about the packaging as the spices themselves.

I get a kick out of those bottles of bay leaves with the shaker tops! there are many uses for those tops - even when crafting.......
but I am convinced that the ones that put a shaker top on the bay leaves are the same ones that DON'T put the plastic tops on the salad dressings! After all - you can always pour too much so you have to buy more - LOL!!!

As far as cooking goes - I don't "shake" spices in my cooking anyway.

speaking of spices............has anyone ever seen those tiny little 99-cent spices they sell around the holidays - barely enough for a recipe! (rip-off)
