as to "other" sites - if "you" do find "the perfect site" it's likely to have exactly one member - "you" - everything else is a compromise. if the half dozen "regulars" here can't find an acceptable home that is under control, oh well.....

There is no perfect site - and spammer can invade anything - face it. Even if I have a site with just me - I would probably get spammed - but I would do something about it. Having my hands tied does not help.

Participation is welcomed - recipes, chat, hints, tips - just don't discuss the spammers - because it won't do an ounce of good. And that is when things get heated up around here.

I have no hard feeling towards anyone. I hate it when someone tries to talk to people using words they know this person or that one may not know just to make themselves feel bigger. A conversation between friends should not require a dictionary and thesaurus.
