His Theory of Relativity is worth understanding (as much as our brains can comprehend anyway). Well, heck, everything he did.
Now, making a further quantum leap (leading to all kinds of searching on the internet if your minds seek it), there is the issue of December 21, 2012 which most people are scoffing at, but it is a moment when our Solar System (Milky Way), Sun, and Earth align with the center of the galaxy (where a black hole exists too), where they say something will happen (nobody knows, but lots of speculation) that will affect mankind and most living things on the planet. This is known, but rare, celestial event much on the same level as a total solar eclipse.
The date also marks the end of the Mayan Calendar for this cycle. Proper research shows they referenced this as the "End of Time" and "The Beginning". Both are correct and relevant. Other old cultures, not connected, also reference the same date/event. What appears to be the situation is that Evolution is speeding up so fast (and you are experiencing now but may not realize it) exponentially that by that date time will have no relevancy. No time, no calendar. Logical.
Coincidentally we also end the Zodiac Age of Pisces, also known as the Age of Christianity, and transcend into the Age of Aquarius (aahhh the 60's) and the song. My apologies to all Christians, but following religion, church, and Christ will come to an end. We no longer will need it. He becomes a brother that he really is and we probably will be standing by his side as his equal, though I kind of think he will be promoted so to speak.
Hard to believe this is all factual, but it is. Somehow during this transition, something happens to us and they think it is something as simple (ha) as a vibration frequency, just like our electricity at 50 or 60 cycles, which separates dimensions. We essentially move to a different dimension. This is apparently what is going to be triggered during the moment of alignment with the galactic center. Some speculate that it is even programmed into our DNA.
Then you read about the following guy who is trying to prove it with a particle accelerator.

and another group trying to isolate the Dark Matter or God particle. I don't have the link for that right now, but it went on line already and "nothing" has been released to the public since. No bragging which is normal??
And I've just provide a simplistic glimpse of all that is purported to be going on, and there is still so much more. It is wild and well worth researching. And what a time to be mankind and living.
Oh yah. Then there is the Bible and the Book of Revelation. Lots of doom and gloom and other nasty stuff, including the 2nd coming of Christ. The Bible says Christ will be with us until the end of the age (not age's'). If the Age of Pisces ends in 4 years, then everything written in the Book of Revelation must occur before the end of 2012. Boy are we in for it! The Good, The Bad, The Ugly! Sounds like a good movie title.

It sure is intiguing to say the least CanMan! I've heard mention of the end of the Mayan calendar, have not studied it much at all, but it is interesting to hear about!

Golly-Moses... it's starting to sound like an episode of the late-night Art Bell Program in here!
Speaking of which- I kid you not... I had a night-baker once named Minot. He listened to Art Bell late-nights in the kitchen as he cut donuts and shaped loaves. One night there came a knock on our cabin door and Arturo- bless him- got up and went down the ladder from the loft to answer it. Pretty soon, Arturo climbed back up and said "Kev- you gotta deal with this". So I got up, put on my snow-boots and in the blackness of night wearing my sweats I was led down the boardwalk by the night maintanence dude. We got to the end of the boardwalk and took a turn to walk a hundred yards down a long narrow pier. Maintanence dude pointed out, squinting to see in the distance- I squinted too and I could see him. We made the long walk in the frigid night air. Walked down the ramp, hopped onto the floating dock. Walked across it clumisly (it was high-tide, and choppy) and asked Minot what the helll he was doing outside on the float-plane dock, and why he wasn't inside earning his pay? Well, he proceeds to tell us that he'd come out to watch the sky the last three nights, and this was the last night he was gonna do it. I asked for clarification- he explained that Art Bell told him a flying saucer would be swinging by to pick him up sometime before Friday between the hours of 01:00 and 03:00. I told him to get his azz back into the kitchen and finish baking. He asked couldn't he wait just 30 minutes more. I told him he could not. He followed me back in and commenced to mixing cookie doughs. I asked Minot if he was gonna be alright. He said "yes". I got back to the cabin, heaved-off my sorels, and climbed up into the warm loft. I didn't say a word to Art- he wouldn't have believed me anyway! (But I never ate Minot's cookies, after that disturbing night!)

There's more to that phrase I believe, but the symbolism is indeed deep and thus results in different interpretations, but the drift of it is pretty clear. Perhaps its full meaning will be become aware to everyone in the coming years.

And then there is a study of lava flows to get information about the magnetic field of our Earth and help predict when it will change. It is actually anticipated to occur (again) soon. In Northern Russia, they documented Magnetic North moving towards True North at the rate of 25 miles per year, probably faster now. The lava flows are helping scientists to study a lot of this.
