Im a delighted you are enjoying your books.
I messed my back up the other day and have finally been reading the ones that I got while recuperating. I really like Ina Garden's Barefoot Contessa at Home. She tells a story about putting up japanese cherry blosson wallpaper in one of their first apartments. It was in their bedroom. Once she was finished she realized she had hung every sheet upside down. She said she couldnt afford to redo it so for years she woke up to look at upside down cherry blossoms.

Ugh.I swear when I hear Jons moms voice on the answering machine I can feel a bit of pain in my ulcer
She always tells everyone that Jon is just like her sooo about a year after Jon and I got married Jons stepdad was taking me to pick our car up at the shop. He actually asked me to give him tips on getting along with her since I obviously was able to get along with Jon whom she says is just like her lol. I was like..Jons nothing like her. :p

Anyone use a indoor grill?
I got this one about three years ago when my second hamilton beach one started loosing the coating on it. I was always very careful with it but I learned you get what you pay for with those indoor grills. I have had the cuisnart for almost three years with heavy use it still looks new.

I got them early this morning.
The little chef chopper does awesome. Im very happy with it. Just a couple pulses and it chops a vidalia onion to perfection. The plunger like chopper does really nice for garlic and its easy to clean. Gonna make making Mama's marinara a breeze.

That little red chefs chopper is already become my favorite item. I used it to dice jalapeno for cornbread last night. I cut the peppers in half and seeded them. Put them in the chopper and two pulses they were chopped perfectly. I can cut them in half and seed them without getting them on my hands but I always got capsaicin on my hands trying to dice them. I hate working with gloves on.

SOS,

I need a waffle iron, and am hopeful that one of you (my wonderful forum friends) could point me in the right direction!

Thanks, Cathy

p.s. I like square waffles! Go figure....
