I used to get Land O Lakes cookies in the grocery store, they were so good. They were a pale yellow thick shortbread type of cookie, but very moist, with a thick layer of creamy icing on top, which was very buttery (duh!). My mother and I used to stalk them, but they stopped making them. :(

Traciray - is this what you are looking for?

* 3/4 cup flour
* 1/4 cup cocoa (Hershey's or equivalent)
* 1/2 teaspoon soda
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
* 1/2 cup margarine or shortening
* 1/2 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
* 1 egg
* 1 cup quick oats
* 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
* 1 cup chocolate chips
* Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Sift together and set aside flour, cocoa, soda, salt and baking powder. Blend together shortening and sugars. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture, mix well. Add oats, vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts if used.

Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes for soft cookies, or 12 minutes for crisp cookies.

I made these last weekend and the recipe was right on, as good as I'd remebered. Thanks so much!

Okay, this isn't a product so much as it is a sandwich I hadn't eaten since I was, oh, I'm guessing in fourth grade for some reason. Anyhow, a friend mentioned today that she'd made cream-cheese-and-jelly sandwiches for her toddler son and I was all "I REMEMBER THOSE!"

And of course I had to rush right off to the kitchen and make some for me, er, I mean my kids.

Yum.
