I hope he gives you an answer!
As soon as I went in his door today with supper he hands me his list and starts talking about how Easter has snuck up on him. I said Hon I told you it was the 4th!
He showed me a list of what he is making and gave me a ideas of few things he wants me to make. Looks like I am making the turkey, cornbread dressing, oyster dressing, deviled eggs, coleslaw, salad, brownies and butterscotch cake. He wants potato salad which I will make if I can find fresh dill. I hate dried dill.
It isnt to bad. I will probably make fondue but Im torn between going with a cheese fondue or chocolate. Caramel fondue with some apple slices on the side would be nice but I know many of them would enjoy a cheese fondue just as much. I will just have to flip a coin lol.

Well at least you now know what you are doing. Maybe this year it would be nice to announce that from here on in everyone can bring a couple items to the table to allow you to enjoy the holiday - if not - then you are eating out that day and not cooking. Just tell them that it's s ton of work and you want to relax too.
good for you - and stick to it! they may not believe you will do it - but announce that for the next dinner you will bring a casserole and a dessert - them ask them who is going to make the entree - and when they start to sing praises about certain things you make - tell them to pick one - that's it - but stick to it - good luck
