I spoke to my younger sis on the phone before leaving and she was telling me that her mother in law dropped their whole Easter dinner in her lap at the last minute. She was over whelmed big time. Well Jon was telling his Dad about it and he laughed and said hmm ... your sis's mother in law did the same thing to her I did to you. I said yes she did and it is just to much for one. I said it was easier this time with you doing part of the cooking.

Jon and I went ahead and ate at noon and his other son and his family and inlaws ate about 2pm. Since we had already eaten we stayed in the livingroom when they had dinner. Not one single person had heard of fondue or had a clue what to do with it. I had to keep telling everyone what the big pot of melted cheese was for. I wont be making fondue for them again lol.

My FIL was not in a good mood when we first got there. He had stuff in the pressure cooker and several other things going when his other son called and he couldnt get off the phone with him. The gasket stuck on his pressure cooker and will have to be replaced now. I heard him mumbling under his breath fussing about it when Jon and I were unloading our car lol.
I already told Jon Im taking next Sunday off from Sunday supper. I got up early yesterday morning and cooked til 2pm. Took a long nap til about 8pm and I have been up and at it ever since.
Thankfully there will not be anymore big dinners for a long time.
