2 chickens, cut into pieces
3 tbsps butter or margarine
2 medium onions, chopped
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
2 large peppers, diced
salt and pepper to taste
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 cup boiling water
3/4 tsp poultry seasoning

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Arrange chicken in casserole.
Put small amount of butter on each piece.
Scatter onions, celery and peppers between layers of chicken; season to taste.
Sprinkle poultry seasoning over all.
Dissolve chicken bouillon cube in water and pour over chicken.
Cover and bake for 1 hour.
Remove lid and let chicken brown, about 20 minutes.
Fix with rice or noodles and spoon sauce over top.
