Recipe: Chocolate Frosted Brownies
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 can chocolate syrup
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
Frosting
- 6 tbsps butter or margarine
- 6 tbsps milk
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream sugar and butter.
- Add eggs and syrup.
- Mix well.
- Add flour and nuts if desired.
Pour batter into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- For frosting, boil the butter, milk and sugar for 30 seconds.
- Add vanilla and chocolate chips.
- Beat well until chocolate chips are all melted.
- Spread on cooked brownies.
