  1. Cream well the butter and sugar.
  2. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to the butter/sugar mix along with the vanilla extract.
  3. Form into small balls. Dent slightly with finger.
  4. Put each ball onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 350° F about 20 minutes.
