Recipe: Pecan Delights

Recipes using Young Pecan Halves

• 1/2 cup butter
• 2/3 cup light brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• Pecan halves

To make Pecan Delights:

1. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolk. Mix well.
2. Mix the dry ingredients together, then add them to the butter sugar mix.
3. Add the chopped pecans.
4. Form teaspoons into balls of the pecan ball mix and place on baking sheet.
5. Top each pecan cookie with a pecan half.
6. Bake Pecan Delights at 325° F. for 12 to 15 minutes.
7. Remove from tray immediately.
