Cooking Instructions for Jasmine Rice
One cup of raw rice will make about 3 cups of cooked Jasmine rice.
- Place 1 cup of Jasmine rice in a sauce pan.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of cool water.
- Bring pot to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat, cover tightly, and simmer for 18 - 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat, and let cooked Jasmine Rice stand in covered saucepan for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
Makes about four 3/4 cup servings of cooked Jasmine rice.
