1 stick of butter or margarine (softened) 1/2 cup regular sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 egg 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 1/4 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cups Rice Krispies 1 package chocolate chips, 6 ounces Cream softened butter, regular sugar, and brown sugar; mix well. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each egg. Mix in baking soda, baking powder, flour, salt and vanilla. Fold in Rice Krispies and chocolate chips to mixture. Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
