Recipe: Ham and Noodle Casserole
- 12 oz wide noodles
- 2 pounds ground ham
- 1 pound Velveeta cheese
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 can Campbell's celery soup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 4 cups milk
Preheat oven to 350° F. Cook the noodles according to the package directions. While noodles are cooking make the sauce so they will be hot together. In sauce pan melt butter and add flour; cook for 1-2 minutes. Mix celery soup and milk. Pour into sauce pan and mix well. Add Velveeta cheese and mustard; mix well. Cook only until cheese is melted. Do not boil. In baking pan or dish, put noodles, cover with ground ham and pour in the sauce over the ground ham. Mix all ingredients to blend together. Bake at 350° F for 1-1 ½ hours. This will freeze good to be reheated.
