  1. Cut raw peeled potatoes in the shape of large almonds, then parboil them in salted water for 5 minutes. Drain potatoes in a collendar.
  2. Meahwhile, sautee onions in butter until soft and translucent.
  3. Saute the potatoes in butter until they are golden and soft, and mix them gently with sauteed chopped onions.
  4. Serve with a generous sprinkling of parsley flakes.
