  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour 2 9 inch loaf pans.
  3. Mash bananas well and set aside.
  4. Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
  5. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk, as needed.
  6. Add bananas and nuts.
  7. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch loaf pans.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
