Mix the rolled oats (or oatmeal) with the boiling water, butter, salt and molasses.
Let stand until lukewarm.
Dissolve the yeast in the 1/4 cup of lukewarm water along with the 2 tsp sugar. Minx with the oats mix, and let stand 20 minutes.
Add the flour, a little at a time, and mix well.
Knead the dough until firm.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Cut dough in half, and place each half into a greased loaf pan.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Bake for 1 hour at 350° f
