Chocolate Brownies Ingredients

• 1/4 cup melted butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 squares baking chocolate
• 2 eggs, unbeaten
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
• 1/4 tsp salt

To make Chocolate Brownies

1. Melt chocolate and butter together over low heat. Remove from fire; add sugar and eggs, then other ingredients.
2. Grease and line a square pan with waxed paper.
3. Spread chocolate mixture evenly in pan.
4. Bake in a very moderate oven, about 325° F., for 25 minutes.
5. Turn out and cut in squares while still warm.
