Recipe: Cranberry Sherbet Balls

- 1 pound cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 18 marshmallows
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Cook cranberries in water until tender. Press through a sieve.
- Add sugar, and cinnamon; stir until it dissolves. Heat marshmallows in 1/2 cup of the strained cranberries until half melted. Combine with remaining cranberries, orange juice, and lemon juice and blend well.
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon Put in freezer tray without the grid and stir several times during freezing period.
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon Using an ice cream scoop, prepare sherbet balls in advance and freeze.
Makes about 24 sherbet balls.
