• 1-1/2 cups pitted dates, cut up
• 1 egg
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1-1/2 cups rice crispies
• 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
• shredded coconut

To make Date Balls

1. Mix dates, eggs, sugar, and butter together in saucepan and cook for 10 minutes.
2. Add rice crispies and chopped walnuts.
3. Wet your hands for easier handling and form mixture into balls.
4. Roll in shredded coconut.
