Since I was a kid, Mom always just buttered the bread for our grilled cheese. Well, now, after discovering olive oil, I can't imagine eating another buttered grilled cheese.

Olive oil & some peppercorn medley ........ then walmart cheese! Man oh man..........

Speaking of which, are any of you as addicted to walmart cheese as I am? Ya know, the stuff in the black package. That stuff is awesome. Melts better than ANY cheese I've ever used.

Mmmm...both of those sound really good. I'll have to try that. I was thinking that puting oil in the pan would be easier than butter, but I never tried it. I will definately try it next time I have grilled cheese.
