3 to 4 lbs. chicken parts, skinned
1 onion, coarsely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1" slice fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 hot red or green pepper, seeded and minced
Sprinkle of black pepper
1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce

Wash chicken pieces and pat dry.
Put remaining ingredients in the blender and puree. Pour over chicken in a large bowl or plastic bag.
Cover bowl or seal in plastic bag and marinate at least 4 hours (overnight is best) in the refrigerator.
Place chicken on medium grill for 15 minutes each side, basting occasionally.
