Cooking a delicious Swiss Steak couldn't be easier with then with this Bag N Seasoning Mix from McCormick.

Ingredients: Onion, Salt, Sugar, Spices (including Paprika, and Black Pepper), Garlic, Green Bell Pepper, Citric Acid, and Bromelain (a meat tenderizer))

You Will Need

• 1 package of McCormick Swiss Steak Bag N Seasoning Mix
• 1 1/2 pounds of round steak, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
• 1 can (8oz) tomato sauce
• 1 cup water
• 2 tbsp flour

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
2. Open cooking bag and arrange in a 13 x 9 inch baking pan or dish.
3. Cut steak into serving size pieces and then sprinkle both sides of meat evenly with seasoning mix.
4. Pierce steak with a fork and let stand for 5 minutes. Place in a single lay in the cooking bag.
5. Mix together the tomato sauce, water, and flour and whick until smooth. Pour over the steak. Close bag loosely with the nylon tie. Cut 4 small wholes in top of the cooking bag to allow steam to escape.
6. Bake in the low half of oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let stand for 5 minutes. Cut open top of bag, stir sauce and serve steak along with sauce.
