Use McCormick Country Gravy Mix over chicken fried steak, biscuits, fried chicken, home fried potatoes, and sausage. Contains no MSG except for those naturally occuring glutamates.

Mixing Chart

Country Gravy Mix:	2/3 Cup	1 1/3 Cup	Entire Bottle
Cold Water	2 Cups	4 Cups	14 to 16 Cups**
	*2 cup recipe is equivalent to 1 packet of McCormick Country Gravy Mix. **Use 14 cups water for a thicker gravy or 16 cups water for a thinner gravy

Stovetop Cooking Instructions

1. Place Country Gravy Mix into a saucepan. Gradually stir in water and whisk until well blended.
2. Cook over medium heat while stirring frequently until the Country Gravy Mix comes to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute^***.

^***Note: Prepared Country Gravy Mix will thicken upon standing.

Microwave Cooking Instructions

1. Stir water into a microwavable bowl.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 4 to 6 minutes for 1 quart recipe, stirring every 1 minute, until thickened^****

^****Microwave ovens vary so cooking times are approximate.

Chicken Fried Steak Recipe

• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt
• 1 cup milk
• 2 pounds beef cube steaks
• 2 cups prepared McCormick Country Gravy Mix

1. Mix 1 flour with seasoned salt in a shallow dish.
2. Pour milk into a shallow bowl.
3. One at a time, dip a cube steak into milk then coat with flour mixture.
4. Repeat dipping to use up all of the mix and the flour mixture.
5. Fry coated cube steaks in batches in a large skillet with canola oil about 5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Add more canola oil as needed.

Makes 4 Servings. Serve with prepared country gravy mix.
