- 1 medium head of cabbage
- 3/4 cup chicken broth or chicken bouillon
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp imitation bacon bits
- 1 tsp caraway seed
- 1 tsp salt
- Wash and cut cabbage into small wedges.
- Add chicken broth to a large saucepan and heat over low heat.
- Add onion and cook in broth until tender. Stir occasionally.
- Add cabbage, imitation bacon bits, caraway seed and salt.
- Cover and cook until cabbage is terder, about 8 to 12 minutes.
