PORK CHOP CASSEROLE

• 4 pork chops
• 2/3 cup long grain white raw rice
• 14 to 16 oz can stewed tomatoes
• 1 can consomme soup
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 tbsp chili powder
• Dash of garlic salt
• Salt and pepper

1. Brown the pork chops chops in hot non-stick skillet.
2. Remove to buttered casserole.
3. Add rice and onion to skillet. Saute until golden brown.
4. Add tomatoes, consomme, and seasonings.
5. Simmer for a few minutes. Add mixture to casserole.
6. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350° F.
