  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place potatoes in greased casserole, 9X13 inches.
  3. Melt 1 stick of butter.
  4. Add onion and garlic salt; simmer.
  5. Add the cheese and remove from stove.
  6. Add sour cream; pour over potatoes.
  7. Melt 1 stick of butter.
  8. Add the corn flakes and toss.
  9. Put over the casserole.
  10. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
