Spiced Pot Roast Recipe

• 7-pound boneless chuck roast
• 8 ounce can tomato sauce
• 2 cups red wine
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
• 10 whole Cloves
• pepper

1. Mix everything except the roast in a large sauce pan (large enough to hold roast and sauce). Mix well.
2. Add the roast, and fill with water to cover.
3. Cover and cook over medium heat until meat is tender and sauce has cooked down.
4. Vegetables and potatoes may be added as desired.
5. Remove meat and thicken sauce with mixture of flour and water.
