Steamed Mullet or Kumu

• 1 mullet or kumu, scaled and cleaned

1. Lay whole fish flat in pan, fill enough water to cover fish and bring to a boil.
2. Turn off heat and cover. When water has cooled, fish is done.
3. Place fish in platter for serving.

• 1 piece ginger, slivered
• 1/8 tsp granulated garlic
• 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped fine

1. Mix thoroughly. Sprinkle over fish.

• 2 tablespoons canola oil
• 1/3 cup soy sauce

1. Heat skillet. Add oil and soy sauce, heat until mixture smokes.
2. Pour sauce over fish and garnish.
