Recipe: Blue Cheese Wreath

Blue Cheese Wreath Ingredients

  • 2 8 ounce packages softened cream cheese
  • 1 pound blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 finely chopped green pepper
  • 1finely chopped medium onion
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt
  • 4 ounce jar pimientos, drained and finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 1/2 cup dried parsley flakes
  • Whole pimiento
  • Crackers or party rye bread

To make Blue Cheese Wreath

  1. In a large bowl combine the cream cheese, blue cheese, and milk. Beat until smooth.
  2. Add the green pepper, onion, pimiento, salt and white pepper. Mix until combined.
  3. On a serving platter, shape cheese mixture into a ring the shape of a wreath.
  4. Sprinkle top and sides with parsley.
  5. Use whole Pimiento to make ribbon for garnish.
  6. Place pieces of whole pimiento spaced in 5ths around the top of the blue cheese wreath.

This makes a large quantity that will serve 50 or more people.
