Recipe: Lebanese Meat Pies
- 2 packages refrigerator biscuits
- 1 pound ground sirloin, very lean
- 1 medium onion, chopped finely
- 1/4 pound pine nuts or walnuts
- 1 tsp Season*all
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Place biscuit dough on floured board.
- Mix meat, onions, pine nuts, Season*all, white pepper, and ground cinnamon.
- Roll each biscuit with a floured rolling pin until it is about 4" in diameter.
- Place the meat mixture in a triangular shape in the center of the biscuit.
- Pull up into a triangular shape by pulling up 3 sides and pinching together.
- Place pies on lightly oiled or a non-stick baking sheet.
- Brush tops of pies lightly with a little melted butter to brown well.
- Bake at 375° F. for 30 minutes.
