Recipe: Tallarene

Recipes using Tones Minced Onion

• 2 cups uncooked egg noodles
• 1 cup water
• 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
• 1 cup tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp minced onion
• 1 cupcornniblets
• 1 cup ripe olives, chopped
• 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
• 2 tablespoons butter
• chopped parsley

1. Brown the lean ground beef in a large skillet.
2. When beef is brown, add the minced onions, tomato sauce and water.
3. Add noodles and cook until noodles are tender. Add more water if the mixture appears too dry.
4. Add salt to taste, corn niblets and olives.
5. Pour into large buttered casserole, and sprinkle with grated cheese.
6. Bake 45 minutes at 350° F.
7. Let stand in oven another 15 minutes after oven is turned off.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
