• Two cans of all green asparagus or two packages frozen aspargus cooked according to package directions
• 1 cup hot liquid from asparagus
• 1 tbsp gelatin, dissolved in 1/2 cup cold water
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 1/2 cup cream, whipped
• 1 tsp sea salt
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 cup slivered almonds

1. Heat the 1 cup hot liquid from the can of asparagus or use water.
2. Pour over the dissolved gelatin. Chill until partially set.
3. Fold in mayonnaise, whipped cream, salt, and lemon juice.
4. Cut asparagus into small pieces, then add asparagus, and almonds.
5. Pour into a prepared gelatin mold and congeal.

Serve on a plate lined with lettuce along with mayonnaise whipped with a little lemon juice.
