• 1 large clove garlic, peeled and smashed
• 2 small shallots, peeled (optional)
• 1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
• 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
• 3/4 cup lemon juice
• 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
• 1/2 tsp salt
• Freshly ground pepper
• 1 tbsp fresh dill weed (optional)

Mix all ingredients well in blender.
