Recipe: Bacardi Run Cake

• 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
• 18 1/4 ounce package yellow cake mix
• 3 3/4 ounce package instant vanilla pudding mix
• 4 eggs
• 1/2 cup cold water
• 1/2 cup canola oil
• 1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum

Glaze:

• 1/4 pound butter
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup Bacardi dark rum

To make the Bacardi Run Cake:

1. Preheat oven to 325° F. Grease and flour 10" tube or 12-cup bundt pan.
2. Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan.
3. Mix all cake ingredients together.
4. Pour batter over nuts in pan.
5. Bake 1 hour.
6. Remove Bacardi Rum Cake from oven, and set on rack to cool.
7. Invert on serving plate.
8. Prick top. Drizzle and brush glaze evenly over top and sides.

To make glaze:

1. Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in water and sugar.
2. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in rum.
