  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Add entire can of tomato juice to a dutch oven or large baking pan.
  3. Place brisket into dutch oven and coat throughly with the tomato juice.
  4. In a small bowl combine the spices, and mix. Sprinkle evenly over the brisket.
  5. Top brisket with the minced onions.
  6. Cover, place in ove, and bakd for 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
  7. Allow to cool some before slicing.
  8. Thicken the sauce with flour, and serve with the brisket.
